  • Wentworth garden

A pleasure year round, this garden perfectly complements the architecture of the house while maintaining a sympathetic and sustainable link to the surrounding landscape. Rhododendron, Laurel and coniferous hedging was cleared to give the garden a new lease of life before views were created along pleached Hornbeam avenues to take the eye inwards towards sculptural features within the site and outwards across one of the Wentworth Club golf courses. A pergola softens the architecture and creates a shady dining area. Roses and Herbaceous borders were added for cutting, colour and scent while the groomed lawns were balanced with a woodland meadow naturalised with bulbs and Cyclamen.
