My own garden at the edge of Windsor Great park is an example of low maintenance, drought resistant planting.

Gardening on light sandy soils and the shade of mature Beech trees restricts the planting pallet. Stipa,Euphorbia, Buxus, Cotinus, Foeniculum and Juniperus work in the dry sunny areas. It is a garden to experiment with planting but ultimately to relax and recharge within a green lush space.
